What is the best Visa Credit Card to get that includes rewards and cash back with low interest rates?

Saturday, January 31st, 2009

I have a low interest rate credit card through my University, however it offers no cash back or rewards program. I am solely looking for a good VISA,not anything else, rewards or cash back program that doesn’t get carried away with high interest rates.

Is a credit card/bank statement enough for businses tax write offs?

Thursday, January 29th, 2009

I’m filing taxes for my consulting real estate business, for about 41,000 and have about 10,000 in tax write offs, but only receipts for about 30% of it. Are bank and credit card statements enough if ever audited?
What if the charges were made through companies that are for like quaterly real estate dues, or real estate boards specifically?

How do I raise my credit score without a credit card?

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

I have student loans but I am still in school and I’ve got several more years to go. I don’t want to get a credit card because I’m not sure I can trust myself with it. I have a car but it is in my dad’s name because I don’t think I have the credit to get one without a co-signer and no one is availible to cosign. Since I still live at home, how can I raise my credit score without a credit card?
I want to raise my credit to buy a house. I can’t get on anyone’s credit because they already said no.

What after rejecting credit card amendment?

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

Month before the end of 0% APR on my credit card I received a notice of Important Amendment on Credit Card Agreement. After doing some research I still not sure should I select the option of rejecting this amandment or not. I know that if I will chose the rejection, my credit crad account will be closed. Doing so, how much it can affect to my credit record? Does this makes any difference to my credit score? I read somewhere the longer you’ve had this credit card the more it will hurt your credit to cancel it… how much truth in this?
Thanks in advance.

How can the closure of a credit card account affect my credit rating?

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

Chase Visa closed a credit card used exclusively by my wife for exceeding the credit limit for 3 consecutive months. Since it is my credit card (I put her on the card 5 yrs ago), what can I do to minimize the damage which has already occurred to my credit rating.

What is the best business credit card to apply for?

Monday, January 26th, 2009

My husband runs his own subcontracting business and he is needing to apply for a business credit card. I researched some and so far Discover’s business card seems good. Any other ideas?

Do I have to have a credit card to access the Xbox Live Marketplace?

Saturday, January 24th, 2009

I am planning on purchasing an Xbox 360 soon and want to be able to access the Xbox Live Marketplace. I bough Bullet Witch and want to download the free special features only available through Xbox Live. I don’t even know if the content is still available for downloading, but I want to know if I have to use my credit card in order the access the marketplace at all. I don’t plan on purchasing anything through it.

If a credit card account number is changed to protect against fraud, does that affect a credit score?

Saturday, January 24th, 2009

There were no fraudulent charges made, but I changed the number proactively. The credit card company closed the current account and opened a new one for me, and transferred the existing charges. I wonder if it looks like a new account, even though the history goes back several years. Does this affect a credit score?

What is a good basic credit card with little or no fees for a responsible teen?

Friday, January 23rd, 2009

I want to get a credit card just for purchasing things online like at amazon or yahoo. I am very responsible with money and since it would only be used occasionally I don’t want to be stuck with a bunch of fees for extras I don’t need. Are there any really basic cards I can get?
Don’t worry, I know that I’m spending MY OWN money and that you can overdo it and get in big debt which stays with you for a long time. I just want to buy a couple of things online and I have the money. Okay, yeah that sounds like what the typical person would say but seriously if I ***** up with it that’s my problem, but thank you.
