What do you do after you get denied a credit card?

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

I just applied for my very first credit card. I got denied :(.
The reasons were:
Credit report shows total available credit on accounts too low.
Insufficient amount of credit information is reported on credit bureau report.
What does all that mean?
Also what do I do now?
Getting a secured card does not sound appealing :(.
I do not know if this helps, but I am almost 24 and I am employed with a steady cash flow.

How do I verify a credit card on my website?

Monday, March 30th, 2009

I don’t have to take payment. I need a way to verify that the information entered into my website matches the credit card. Then I need to pass it along in an email to a third party.

How do you verify credit info?

I am thinking of applying an unsecured credit card?
My credit score is about 580-600.

Has anyone with around my credit score got one?

What would happen to my credit card if the bank fails?

Thursday, March 26th, 2009

I have a WaMu credit card (love it because it has a good interest rate AND I can see my credit score 24/7 at no charge). They are in trouble financially for the same reason as a lot of other banks are. So if they go under or get sold or some other catastrophic thing happens to WaMu (or indeed to any credit card issuer), what happens to my credit card account? Can they demand all outstanding balances as immediately due and payable?

What happens if I decided not to activate credit card?

Tuesday, March 24th, 2009

I applied for a credit card from Credit One bank after I got an offer in the mail, but now that I got it I decided that I don’t want it or need it. Apart from that, the annual fee is ridiculous. They already sent me the statement for a $75 annual fee with a min payment of $20 even before the card itself arrived. Can I just not activate the card and ask them to close the account? I don’t need the card and that annual fee is ridiculous.

How can someone get a credit card if they are living in a country whose banks do not issue credit cards?

Sunday, March 22nd, 2009

My friend lives in Morocco and would like to get a Visa or MasterCard credit card to make online purchases. Unfortunately, no banks in this country, to our knowledge, issue credit cards. Is there an international bank or other solution? A low-limit card will suffice. Thank you

What is the best Visa Credit Card to get that includes rewards and cash back with low interest rates?

Thursday, March 19th, 2009

I have a low interest rate credit card through my University, however it offers no cash back or rewards program. I am solely looking for a good VISA,not anything else, rewards or cash back program that doesn’t get carried away with high interest rates.
